HOW CAN I CUT COSTS ON MY MACHINED PARTS?

Reduce Complexity! One way to cut costs in custom machined parts is to minimize the amount of material that is removed. The turning process applies pressure to the material, weak shapes that may flex can be difficult to machine, such as long thin structures. The other way to cut costs is to order higher quantities. The first part is the most expensive due to the machine setup and programming. Therefore, ordering a higher quantity will distribute that expense and reduce cost per piece.
